OberMUN 2019 "Delegates, the floor is open"
Si comincia davvero. Ecco il resoconto della cerimonia di apertura, redatto dagli stessi protagonisti.
Cerimonia di apertura OberMUN 2019
Parte oggi OberMUN 2019 con la cerimonia al Museo Revoltella. La terza edizione, con più di ben 100 delegati, da 5 diversi paesi europei e 14 scuole, sarà il più grande MUN mai organizzato dalla nostra scuola. Dopo l’arrivo di tutti gli invitati, esteri e non, la cerimonia ha avuto inizio con l’intervento di Veronica Venier, uno dei quattro head organizer. Al suo discorso sono seguiti vari interventi, in particolare quello del prefetto di Trieste, Valerio Valenti, che ha espresso il suo supporto nei confronti di questa manifestazione. Presente anche il vicepresidente del consiglio regionale Francesco Russo con un intervento a favore dei giovani e di questa iniziativa. Un rappresentante dell’Autorità Portuale di Trieste che ci ha fatto inoltre presente dell’importanza e dell’internazionalità di questa città. Ha poi tenuto il suo discorso Luca Drole, secondo head organizer. A questi interventi è seguito il coro della scuola, che ha cantato l’inno europeo e quello italiano. Con il suo discorso, Pietro Cocco, terzo head organizer, ci ha fatto capire quanto questo evento stia a cuore agli head organizers e quanto lavoro ci sia dietro. Anche il dottor Michele Clara, del United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), ci ha fatto capire la rilevanza di ciò che è stato organizzato citando il nostro motto “Change the world by being yourself. Il futuro è nelle nostre mani. Ultima ad intervenire Benedetta Rosato, che ha concluso la cerimonia di apertura. Detto questo, “Delegates, the floor is open”.
OberMUN 2019 opening ceremony
OberMUN 2019 has begun today, with the ceremony at the Museo Revoltella. The third edition, with more over than 100 delegates, from 5 different European countries and 14 schools, will be the greatest edition ever organized by Liceo Oberdan. After the arrival of all the guests, the ceremony has started with the speech of Veronica Venier, one of the four head organizers. After her, various intercourses have followed, especially the one held by the prefect of Trieste, Valerio Valenti, who expressed his support for this event. The vice-president of the regional council Francesco Russo, was there too, with a few brief words in favour of our initiative. A representative of the harbour authority reminded us of the importance and internationality of Trieste, both as a harbour and as a cultural centre. Afterwards, Luca Drole, the second head organizer intervened. The school choir followed, singing the European and Italian anthem. With his speech, Pietro Cocco, third head organizer, taught us how much the organizers have at heart this event and how much work there is behind its success. Also doctor Michele Clara, from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), told us about the relevance of what has been organized citing our motto “change the world by being yourself”. The future is in our hands. The last to intervene was Benedetta Rosato, the fourth head organizer, who concluded the opening ceremony. With that being said “delegates, the floor is open”.
