Gite scolastiche e scambi culturali

The trips, the studying-abroad weeks, the cultural exchanges, the ski-weeks and in general terms the excursions that the school carries out through the activity of all the school components, are organized, carried out and monitored in order to widen our students’ knowledge, experience and socialization. These are activities which are organized by the various school commissions after a careful and in-depth analysis of the educational effects that these activities have on the students. The guided visits and the school-trips must be in line with the objectives and the cultural and educational programs of the schooling plan; they can also have a socializing aim, however they cannot only have a recreational objective. They must encourage the knowledge of art, culture, nature which surrounds us and which we find in far-away locations. They must develop human and cultural relationships with various types of environment which should motivate students to develop a national and European consciousness, and they must allow students to know the institutions which are present in our territory. They can also encourage sports activities with an educational purpose. With this in mind, they must give students the opportunity to acknowledge both the significance of what exists in their territory and the importance of relating to a wider and different reality than their own.

This year the following excursions and school trips have been organized:

1st-year students: ski-week in Arta Terme-Ravascletto-Zoncolan; 2nd –year students: trip to Trento and Ravenna; 3rd  4th-year students: trip to Torino, Milano and green-week in Liguria and Brenta valley; 5th – year students: trip to Prague, Vienna, classical Greece.

A number of one-day excursions were organized in order to take part in events, shows and visits to locations which have significant cultural value.

At the moment our school is taking part in cultural exchanges with partner schools in Sweden, Denmark and the Czech Republic. These are intercultural activities, because they involve the participation of students from various school-grades and classes.
